Showing 75 of 75 meetings in Byhalia.
Nothing matches all of those at once. Try taking one off.
What these mean
- Open
- Anyone may attend, including family, friends and people who are simply curious. Nobody has to say why they came.
- Closed
- For people who have a desire to stop drinking. If you are not sure that is you, an open meeting is the safe first choice.
- Online
- Held online rather than in a room. The row shows the Zoom details where the group publishes them.
- Women
- Only women attend.
- Gay
- Run by and for gay members.
- Wheelchair Access
- The room can be reached and used in a wheelchair.
- Discussion
- A topic is raised and whoever wants to speak does. You can sit through the whole hour without saying anything.

Questions about AA in Byhalia
How many AA meetings are within driving distance of Byhalia?
75 within 15 miles, which is how far this page had to reach to show you a full week. 1 is in Byhalia itself.
Is there an AA meeting every day in Byhalia?
There is at least one listed every day of the week, including Sunday, which is the thinnest day here with 9 meetings.
Can I go to a meeting in Byhalia if I am not sure I am an alcoholic?
Most of what is listed is closed rather than open: 51 closed against 21 open. Closed means it is for people who want to stop drinking themselves.
How many AA groups are there in Byhalia?
One, and everything it runs is listed above. A group is the set of people who hold a meeting, so one group can account for several entries in the week.
What happens when the person drinking is not ready?
What tends to help is support for you rather than pressure on them. Nobody at a meeting will intervene with a third party, and no group is set up to. The open meetings in the schedule above are the ones you can attend yourself.
Will I be asked to say anything in front of people?
You never have to say anything, on a first visit or on any other. It is normal to arrive with nothing to say and leave having said nothing. Nobody will ask you for an opinion on anything.
