Questions about NA in Arlington Heights

How many NA meetings are there in Arlington Heights?

85 meetings, listed above earliest first for each day.

Can I attend a meeting online from Arlington Heights?

Online, 26 are available near Arlington Heights.

Which night has the most choice?

Meetings run on 7 days of the week, and Monday is the busiest.

What time do meetings in Arlington Heights start?

The earliest starts at 6:00 AM and the latest at 10:00 PM.

Which meetings have wheelchair access?

Wheelchair access is noted on 13 of the rows above.

Is NA free?

Meetings cost nothing to attend, and that is a tradition rather than an offer. A basket goes round partway through, and what goes in it pays for the room and the coffee. Nothing on this site asks for your details or your money either.

What is the difference between NA and AA?

Alcoholics Anonymous is about alcohol. Narcotics Anonymous is about any drug, and treats alcohol as one of them. Which one people settle into is usually decided by the room rather than by the definition. Switching between them later is normal and needs no explanation.

Do I have to believe in God to go to NA?

No. Narcotics Anonymous is not a religious organization and is not tied to any church or denomination. Many members take the group itself, or simply something other than their own will, as the whole of it. Members will answer this plainly if you ask at the end.
