Questions about NA in Marina

Are there NA meetings in Marina, CA?

27 meetings sit within 10 miles of Marina.

Are any meetings near Marina wheelchair accessible?

19 meetings are listed as wheelchair accessible.

Which meetings near Marina can anyone attend?

22 of them are marked open, meaning anyone may attend.

Are there Spanish language meetings near Marina?

There is 1 Spanish language or bi-lingual meeting nearby.

Is it worth looking beyond the list above?

49 more sit further out, within 25 miles.

Do I have to give my name at a meeting?

Nobody is going to ask for identification or an address. Anonymity is one of the fellowship's own traditions, and members treat what they hear in the room as staying there. Bringing somebody with you does not change any of it.

What should I expect at my first NA meeting?

A newcomer is usually welcomed at the start, and after that the hour is like any other meeting. People arrive in work clothes, gym clothes and whatever they had on, and none of it is remarked on. Afterwards a few people normally stay behind, and that is the easiest moment to ask a question.

How long do I need to stay at a meeting?

Sixty minutes is the normal shape of it. Some groups open the room half an hour early and people sit and talk before it starts. A lunchtime meeting is often the shortest, if time is the constraint.
