Questions about NA in Baldwin Park

Are there NA meetings in Baldwin Park, CA?

26 meetings sit within 15 miles of Baldwin Park.

Are there meetings outside working hours?

The first of the day is 9:00 AM, the last is 7:30 PM.

Are any meetings held in Spanish?

2 meetings are marked as Spanish language or bi-lingual.

Do meetings run on Saturday and Sunday?

There are 8 weekend meetings on the list above.

Are there more meetings further out?

There are 167 more between 15 and 25 miles.

What if I can only stay half an hour?

Sixty minutes is the normal shape of it. The hour usually ends with everyone standing, and a few people stay behind afterwards. If an hour is too much today, going for part of one is better than not going.

Is going to meetings enough on its own?

A meeting can do a great deal and it cannot supervise a withdrawal. A treatment program has staff, a schedule and a discharge date. A group has none of those and does not stop. Meetings and clinical treatment are not alternatives, and plenty of people do both at once.

What does open mean on a meeting listing?

An open meeting welcomes anyone. A closed meeting is for people who think they may have a drug problem. Neither one asks you to register, and neither keeps a list of who attended. If you are going on someone else's behalf, look for an open one.
