Questions about NA in Tucson

How many NA meetings can I get to from Tucson?

82 meetings, listed above earliest first for each day.

Is there an accessible venue in Tucson?

25 meetings are listed as wheelchair accessible.

Are there online NA meetings near Tucson?

9 online meetings are marked in the schedule above.

Are there meetings outside working hours?

Between 8:30 AM and 11:55 PM, depending on the day you pick.

Do meetings run on Saturday and Sunday?

There are 21 weekend meetings on the list above.

Should I go to detox or to a meeting?

For some people meetings are the whole of it. For others they sit alongside a program. Insurance covers addiction treatment in most plans, and what yours covers is a question with an actual answer. If there is immediate medical danger, call 911 rather than waiting for a meeting.

Is NA religious?

No. Atheist and agnostic members are ordinary in most rooms. Some meetings are held in church halls because the rent is cheap, which says nothing about the group. If this is the part that puts you off, go once and see what the room actually does.

What does a sponsor actually do?

Another person in recovery who has done the steps and is willing to walk you through them. Most people go to meetings for a while before asking anyone. If you are not ready to ask anyone, keep going anyway.
