Can I go to a meeting if I am still drinking?
Yes. Turning up is the point, and the state you arrive in is not. If you are shaking, sweating or seeing things when you go without a drink, that is a reason to speak to a doctor before stopping, not a reason to avoid a meeting. Turning up having had a drink is not a reason to be turned away.
